1st Wave Feminism: Terrorist activities. 2nd Wave Feminism: Eugenics (of black people), and the weakening of men's ability to defend themselves in court. 3rd Wave Feminism: The complete removal of female agency, and the expansion of the welfare state until it pops.
Keep it up, the western world won't make it to a fourth.
@bente2 A man's value lies in his income, property, travels and dominion over other people. A woman's value lies in her youth, beauty and/or the man she's with.
You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how mating strategies work. May I suggest an un-feminized biology textbook, observation of the present day Hollywood and college, "sexual abuse scandals" or a deep philosophical conversation with an older male. Preferably one who is divorced, ex-military, and has seen the world.
Don't sell yourself, or anyone else for that matter, short by placing women anywhere near top 5. Live your own life, do what YOU want to do. Let women come along if they want. They sure as shit won't let you hold them back.
well nowadays it´s already sexual harassment if you look at a woman funny... we should be more carefull about what we call "sexual harassment" cause otherwise genuine harassment will soon be ignored just like all those whiny bitches who would prefer living alone in this world.
My best friend was raped when she was 3 years old and another friend of mine was sexually abused when she was 6 by her step father. Did they want it at 3 and 6? No I think not
I don't know what you count as looking at a woman funny but I actually feel sexually harassed when guys openly look at my junk from up close. It totally makes me fell uncomfortable and objectified. And no, I wasn't wearing anything revealing.
@Rissa95 that´s not harassment. everybody is free to look wherever they want. looking at your junk and groping some girls pussy against her will... you think those are both equally bad and we should use the same word for it?
If the guy is hot, rich, smart and charming then women complain about not having enough attention even with the touching and the groping and even the occasional blowjob.
If the guy is less than average, nerdy, smelly and fat then it's sexual harassment by just looking. They are convinced the guy should have a hole and disappear into it to survey the universe purpose.
Women have this problem of judging people based on initial impression. Once they got the impression, they stick to it. So if they think a guy is a pervert then everything he says will be some sort of harassment. Even his presence is some sort of irritation and they will find any excuse to get rid of him.
It's probably the most toxic thing in an environment.

So you think I judged this person based on how he looks? Are you being fking serious? Did you even read the part he is married? WTF?
Come on dude the problem just isn't the dude who is married and has 2 kids and was still flirting even when she made it clear she doesn't wish to talk to him several times, but is also the stupid manager who told her to flirt back with such a man and all the other men she ever finds flirting with her at her job. And what's wrong with not wanting to befriend a pervert the heck? She isn't going to go get to know him personally and be like okay so I DON'T THINK HE IS A PERVERT. You will be judged get over it, its a human tendency and even if the guy is hot or ugly if he stares at a girl or checks her out I'm sure most of the girl's are going to consider it creepy. Doesn't matter if you are Tom Cruise or the quiet shy guy from around the street. Would you approve of your wife or daughter or sister or even mother befriending a pervert? I hope not.
Oh my fucking God go away. No one cares about these whiny articles...
No one said that every woman lies. As a matter of fact my supervisor routinely texts co-workers about what they're wearing, etc. (which is really perverted) so there's one example. But still 95% of harassment is honestly such complete nonsense that a grown woman should be able to handle it... seriously.

Thank you to all the people hwo liked my post. I feel better knowing my opinion counts!
So, you believe men "think they're entitled to make sexual advances because they have penis, which is the most important organ in their body"? Nice.
But you're a feminist who is "fighting against sexism"? Riiiiiight. You're as sexist as anyone but, as a feminist, you're too hypocritical to see it.
Yes, there is sexism in this world. Is feminism doing anything to correct that? Nope... just the opposite, actually. Feminism is just widening the divide between men and women and creating more, not less hatred.

From what you said, yes the customer was out of order and the manager could have handled it better.
What seems to be getting lost in some of the media stories is almost irrespective of whether someone is uncomfortable or not there should be a certain standard of behaviour in work situations and it doesn't matter if it's a man or woman who is the instigator. Keep your hands to yourself and respect personal space.

who the fuck said that. but you have to admit some women abuse it, and lie to completely ruin someones life. oh boo hoo. everyone gets harassed. grow tf up and stop blaming all men. even many is an exaggeration.
would you want your father or brother or husband/boyfriend to get wrongfully accussed? maybe yes since your so bitter towards males.
"Think Every Woman Lies About Harassment in the Western World? Think Twice."
No one ever said that every woman does it. Just that so many do it it becomes common.

Just read the comments. Some in fact claims every woman lies, and they are so offended that I did not bother to use "some men" instead of "men" because now they understand how real victims of harassment feel like, and how they also should not generalize as "all women" or "every women" or "most women"
Well i never blamed someone for harassment for these reasons you Mentioned. If someone tells me i am pretty, i say thanks and that’s it. For the phone number, i haven't experienced but i know couple of my friends had problems that guy was forcing them for the phone number and didn't understand “no”. Whenever i said sorry i dont giv my number to everyone like a charity, no guy forced me, instead they walked away. When it becomes creepy, it is harassment.
i know a guy who has long pretty hair so random dudes in the street cat call him and then he turns around and they see a beard and are like "my bad man" so lol funny story right
There are stupid guys like this , and women who falsely accused also. Then there are men like me , if your not my wife , stay completely the f.. away from me entirely , seriously , stay your f... distance away from me.

The prevalence of sexual harassment does not create a need for feminism. You're arguing a non sequitur.
I had a male coworker aggressively harass me for months before he was fired. Another female coworker just reported our manager for sending her dick pics (after she told him she was married and definitely not interested). I can think of 100 times when I was catcalled while walking alone (and no, I don't mean a guy just saying "hey"). And, while this isn't sexual harassment, my close friend was actually told, to her face, that she "needs to be less opinionated if she ever wants a boyfriend." For context, she is an outspoken feminist who is always polite when debating, and she's currently engaged.
And that's only the tip of the iceberg. So yes, we still need feminism.
@snowangle No, we don't, 'cause feminism can't do shit against this. It doesn't matter where you are on the planet, there will always be some dicks walking around. So unless you manage to arrest ALL dicks on this world or teach all of 'em some manners, it ain't gonna change.
Women complain about being hit on but then if they never get hit on then they complain about that too. "OMG am I ugly? Why won't a guy ask me out?"

Being hit on or subtle flirt is fine with me as long as person knows his boundaries. It is not fine when the person clearly says “i have a wife but i can fuckypu if you want cuz it seems like your boyfriend can't satisfy you” even though you tell him to stop.
In this scenario she told him to stop multiple times. If you don't understand the difference between some harmless flirting and forcing someone to sit there and listen to you say lewd shit, then I don't know what to tell you.
I grew up in Istanbul partly and partly in Amsterdam, lived in for multiple years in NYC and tiny bit of 4 months in San Fran. I did not have any problems until I moved to this small city. Are you sure?

No, maybe like 90% lie. Or they exaggerate.
1st Wave Feminism: Terrorist activities.
2nd Wave Feminism: Eugenics (of black people), and the weakening of men's ability to defend themselves in court.
3rd Wave Feminism: The complete removal of female agency, and the expansion of the welfare state until it pops.

90%? What a load of complete bullshit.
Keep it up, no women will want to be with you. (Assuming you are attracted to women and in search of a relationship)

Sure sweet cheeks.
It's only harrassment if the guy is creepy. LOL. Otherwise the ladies are whining cuz no one pays attention to them. Seen it both ways.
If you didn't want the guy around tell him to fuck off and throw him out.
Yes but i didn't wanna have a problem with the manager cuz he could come complain

They don't lie, it's just that some things that would NEVER be considered sexual harassment in other countries are considered so in the US
Example?
Touching a woman on the back or arm without het consent
Asking for her number
Telling her she's pretty
Well i never blamed someone for harassment for these reasons you

Free speech is a bitch, women are entitled to harass men verbally, sexually and in many other ways as well.
Harassment on the workplace is very bad, ans should be handled accordingly, however the preservation of free speech is paramount.
i know a guy who has long pretty hair so random dudes in the street cat call him and then he turns around and they see a beard and are like "my bad man" so lol funny story right

The prevalence of sexual harassment does not create a need for feminism. You're arguing a non sequitur.
You're gonna need some more to change my opinion than one small story of a guy flirting/being kind of a dick to you.
It's not just one though, and a lot of woman experience the same. And I'm pretty sure we all don't encounter the exact same man
I had a male coworker aggressively harass me for months before he was fired. Another female coworker just reported our manager for sending her dick pics (after she told him she was married and definitely not interested). I wish I could care but women have become such B's I couldn't give a fuck anymore.
That's life in the big city, sugar!
I grew up in Istanbul partly and partly in Amsterdam, lived in for multiple years in NYC and tiny bit of 4 months in San Fran. I did not have any problems until I moved to this small city. Are you sure?
If you've escaped the perverts in NYC and San Fran without incident than you should be a survivor. Why the small town issues?
I think a lot of people lie but that doesn't mean sexual harassment is all fake or whatever.
