How to Become an Alpha Male

Ok, first, lets start by explaining what's an Alpha Male.

No, an Alpha Male is not a douchebag, he's not someone that acts like he's the center of the world and everybody else is inferior. An Alpha Male is someone that takes full control of his life, not following anyone else but what he believes is the best for his life; he is his own leader.

Here are 20 characteristics of an Alpha Male:

1) Strength: It's not about physical strength, but mental strength; he knows what to do under pressure.

2) A leader: Yes, the Alpha Male is the leader, that's why he's the Alpha Male. He doesn't try to be a leader, it's instinctively.

3) Will to Win: Life is all about winning, if you don't have that will, you're gonna lose.

4) Ambitious: He's full of ambitions, and always wants more.

5) Competitive: He's extremely competitive, and do whatever it takes to win.

6) Charismatic

7) Challenging: He never turns around when a challenge appears, in fact, he looks for new challenges.

8) Confidence: Really? Do I have to explain this?

9) Rule Breaker: No, I'm not saying break the LAW, it's not the same. You make your own rules, it's your life, you decide.

10) Inspiration: He inspires those around him, and becomes the role model for other men out there.

11) Ingenuity: He's smart, be it street smart or book smart.

12) Optimistic: He's sure that what he's doing is the right thing.

13) Protective instinct: He's aware of his surroundings, alert and ready for any situation.

14) Calculative: He has a plan, and he knows it, and he approaches it with a calculative mind. An Alpha Male knows what he's doing.

15) Egotism: He doesn't care what other people think, their opinions have no effect on his ego.

16) He draws people: Other people want to be around him.

17) Risk taker: In life you have to take risks in order to get what you want, and Alpha Male never backs off.

18) Focus: He's very focus with his ideas. He has determination.

19) He creates his destiny: Your life is a result of your actions, everything you do know is expressed in the future. He knows that and therefore, he creates his own destiny.

20) He's dependable.

Obviously, this comes with some negative traits:

1) Arrogance: They may not show it, but they're arrogants, and if you don't know how to control it, it'll be a problem.

2) Intense rivalry: Alpha Males are competitive, and have a will to win, but when that turns in an intense rivalry, it can cloud his better judgement.

3) Perfectionist: It's not bad to be a perfectionist with your own life, but when you demand perfection from everybody else, you'll begin to make new enemies.

4) Stubbornness: He can be really stubborn, even when he knows he's wrong.

5) Perseverance: He doesn't accept a no for an answer, so he'll fight until he gets what he wants, and he may succeed, but the journey may drain him.

6) Ruthlessness: Anything that's in the way of his success, he'll try to eliminate it.

7) Recklessness: Winning is a desire for him, but when it's not control, it may turn him into a reckless madman.

8) Dominating: Alphas can be very dominating, to the point where other may fear him or get annoyed by his behavior.

9) Apologies: If he thinks he's right, he'll never apologize, no matter how much damage he may have done.

10) Pressure: He loves pressure, even when it start hurting him and others around him.

An Alpha Male is not someone fit, attractive or tall, he's just a man in control of his life, knows what he has to do, and does it. Every man what's to be an Alpha Male, and every woman wants to be with an Alpha Male.
Every man should be an Alpha in order to succeed in his life, but be careful, because trying to hard can backfire and you'll end up failing, hurting those around you, and ending alone.

I hope I managed to show that Alpha Males aren't douchebags, contrary to what many people believe, and Alpa Male is someone that is the leader of his own life and lets no one lead him.

I dont like the whole alpha beta thing but there is some truth to it. I am very successul and many of the things listed but Imdont thinkmof myself as Alpha. To me, an alpha needs to have people following him. I dont like that at all. I lead a department but I think people need to make their own decisions and not just depend on me. I dont understand that attitude or the attitude that some have when they cultivate their followers. i get young women going for what the precieve as an alpha, but they are wrong a lot of the time. You won't know who is truly a successful person for many years as time plays out. Then there are the good stable guys who get tossed aside later because some want the so-called alpha but never really get him. Those women are shallow and stupid, they end up alone and hurt their real partner and their kids. Most young alphas look and talk the part, but when life happens many end up left behind by the real guys who will ne the successful ones... Those guys, they are in college hetting STEM degrees or creating their own companies. The other pretenders are at the club being what women want to see but not becoming the real deal.

I totally agree with you. But you're getting the Alpha male concept wrong. It has nothing to do with getting women, that's why I never mention getting women. It has nothing to do with telling people what to do, that's why perfectionist and dominating are in the negative category.
A guy getting a STEM degree can be an alpha, because it's all about yourself, how you rule and live your life.
