Do guys like blunt women?

I am a very blunt person. I get right to the point. I was just wondering if guys like for a girl to be so blunt and let them exactly how you feel. This guy I am trying to establish something with is a shy person and doesn't express his feelings like I do. So I told him how I felt and all he could say is WOW! I asked him what that meant and he said when he figures it out then he would let me know. Does being blunt hurt or help a relationship starting out? And do guys like a girl to be so blunt?

I would LOVE that! That "not telling what you think and getting upset if your boyfriend can't read your mind" is one of the most, if not the most, annoying thing about women!

I don't care if I get insulted, because I'm going to get insulted anyway when things start being difficult. I want to be honest myself (blunt), and that only works with someone else who also is like that.

If one keeps a "problem" to oneself without saying it, it just "rotes" and get worst until it destroys the relationship.

The big question is, how does one find someone like that? You can't ask your date "Are you honest?", who would answer "no" to that? So there isn't an easy way to tell.

some do some dont, it depends on how blunt your talking about lol. I like a girl who is independent and 'take care of herself' but not "bitchy"...meaning anyone could walk up to her and she's nice to them because a lot of times girls who are blunt are though to be "bitchy"...but once again...some are some arnt. It may be that he just didn't know what to say on the spot because he is shy. Good luck.

Most guys prefer a woman who can get to the point rather than dick around.

I would say for a woman to be blunt is the same as saying that she is being a bitch...Just being blunt...but really when being blunt you say things not thinking how it could affect the other person, it can possibly be positive or negative, but why do that? I can't speak on another man's behalf but I know I don't like bitches, aka, blunt women.

It is OK to be blunt, but you have to have tact. Tell it how it is, but it is also fine to put a spin on it to make what you say easier to swallow. But most importantly, if you are going to be blunt, be blunt 24/7. Don't be blunt sometimes and not blunt later. That is the sure fire way to tick us off.
