How long does a "lip hickey" last?

So, I made out with this one guy and he was biting my lower lip a lot-- I really liked it, but now, I have a bruise there.

I was wondering, have you ever gotten one? How long did it last?

If you've never gotten one yourself, what's your opinion on it?

Generally hickeys are only very noticeable for a few days on me. It was the same with my lip, and the guy bit it really hard lol.

I guess you would know best how long a bruise is likely to last on you. For me, I get bruises very easily but they also fade really fast. I would generally say about 2 days. Until then, just try using some colored lipgloss if you don't want it to be very noticeable haha. :]

i actually used to suck on my bottom lip and my mom used to ask what happened to me and I told her so if your trying to hide it that could you excuse but it only lasts for a day or so, don't worry about it.

Haha! Nice; that's actually the excuse I've been telling people; it seems to satisfy!

It lasts about 2-3 days. It'll go away! No biggie. My boyfriend does it a lot and it will be a bruise te first day but then it will begin it's healing process the second and third day. Good luck! :)
