So there's this guy whos pretty much admitted he likes me to my friend. She asked and he said ya i guess all nervously. Now he also really shy too. So i messaged him asking if he wanted to hang out or something anytime. He responded saying, Maybe but im really busy with sports and everything right now. Which he does play sports that keeps him busy and has friends and family to be with and all that.
I know that sometimes guys say maybe as a nice way of saying no. If thats the case I don't know why he didn't just say that. And the fact the he's admitted to liking me.
Is he just shy and afraid im teasing him or something? Or is it no? Was he embarressed a girl had to ask him out? Im not making excuses other than it being no im confused and its happened to my friend, she was in this exact situation and he really did like her and they ended up dating. He was just busy.
I just dont know what to do I've heard shy guys do that kind of stuff. So itd be better for answers from a shy guy's POV or if youve been in the situation or you have a friend thatd be great:) thanks!
