I made out with a guy the same night we met at a party on Friday (we have mutual friends). I've only kissed 2 guys in my life but I just got out of an unhealthy relationship so I went for it. I knew what I was getting myself into, so I was expecting him not to text at all despite exchanging numbers. We were both sober.
BUT, he texted me first the same night asking if I got home, and continued texting me for the next two days, responding very quickly and chatty and keeping the conversation going. He also invited me to a party on Saturday and on Sunday to the movies, but I told him I could't make it.
He didn't text me yesterday and hasn't today. We're both 18.
Opinions?
Also, was all he wanted a make-out buddy or does he have any intentions of getting to know me/dating me?

He probably doesn't think you're interested since you rejected going to the party and the movies. Didn't you suggest another date? That's THE best thing to do when you can't make it to something. Suggesting another date not only proves that you most likely do have something else to do that day, but it also proves that you're actually interested and considerate.
If all he wanted was a make out buddy, he wouldn't have texted you so much, AND he wouldn't have asked you out on that movie date. He most likely only would have asked you to come to the party, since that's the perfect place to make out at.
Why don't YOU send him a text? Say something along the lines of "hey, I'm so sorry I can't make it this weekend. But how about next [day you're free]? I'd really like to hit the movies with you :)" or whatever.

from life I've found out that he will text you when he wants too. Don't force yourself onto him.

The question is.. who started the texting the nights that you guys did text? If he was the one that started the text, then it's possible after a couple of days he wants to see if you will text him. To see if you actually are interested in him vs just being nice and courteous by responding to his text messages. Especially since you said you couldn't make it to the party. He doesn't know the reason as to why you couldn't make it. Even if you told him, he probably would take it personally. And then add to the fact that you haven't bothered texting him the past two days... Probably makes him think that you don't really like him as much as he thought you did.

He started the texting. I get your point, however I never text guys first. I'm too used to having them chase after me. And I really don't want to text him if all he wants is a make-out buddy, cause I'm not interested in a friends with benefits . But well, when and what should I text him?

The problem with not wanting to text him if all he wants is a make-out buddy is that you're not going to text him based on something that you don't even know is true. Some guys, such as myself, won't chase after a girl. I will show that I'm interested in the girl and if I start feeling like the feelings I have for her are not mutual I will wait to see if she shows me any interest. I could ask, but then that gives her the chance to lie. I believe in actions not words.

Just text him, hopefully sometime today when you're free to talk. And just start a conversation. Ask him how he's been the past couple of days. Maybe tell him how you wanted to talk to him but were waiting for him to text you. He might state that he wanted to talk to you but was waiting for you to text him. From there, use your best judgement to determine if he's actually interested in a relationship or if he's just wanting to be friends with benefits . Don't ask him, because that gives him the opportunity to lie if he does want to be friends with benefits .

biggest factor of him continuing is how attracted he is to you. hot girls can make mistakes and guys often look past that. play the game (understanding perception) and be good at it. honesty (giving your power) isn't wise in the beginning. see how he is first so you dont get hurt

i think you're in the storming phase of your relationship where he is trying to see what you're made of (how strong, self esteem etc .) its not bad to message here and there but dont give him the pleasure of holding the gun (all the power) of the relationship. play as you go and keep these concepts in mind. how things are in the beginning often becomes the blueprint later on. if you're too honest or come off desperate in the beginning, it can be headaches for you later on

If he only wanted to kiss you, he wouldn't have texted you for 2 days after it happened. I'm pretty sure he's into you, maybe he was just busy yesterday and today.
