Best way to get a shy guy out of his shell?

ok, I'm a student at college there is a shy guy I like who I want to come out of his shell.

i aways start things off and it would be if he attracted my attention (not the other way round)

very hard to tell if he thinks about me in the same way, as all his lessons are on the 1st floor, mine are on second floor.

he seems nice and at fresher's even snuck off from his mate to meet me.

does he like me and if so, what are your best tricks to getting your crush want you?

Kick him in the nuts!.. Lolll.. kidding.. ok you like him.. its ok to start things off for a while.. if he starts to understand that you are going out of your way to talk to him and get things started, he will pick up the clues and start trying..

If he is still not trying or is too shy, here are some tips.. laugh at his jokes.. touch his arm when you talk to him.. give him lots of chances to ask you to go do some of the things you two talk about.. find out what his interests are.. you have to give him a chance to open up to you about topics that he enjoys.. and use them as the next topic of conversation.. if you have given him all the right signals and he still won't ask you out, make the first move.. make him an offer he can't refuse to get him to go out with you.. ask him to do something he would like to do.. if you have hung out with a shy guy for awhile, and you have formed a friendship, open up and let him know how you feel.. he may be too shy to act on his own feelings until he has a confirmation from you that you feel the same way..

Last but not least.. remain low-key when you are with your shy guy.. until you know how he is around his close friends, don't be too boisterous or loud because you may scare him away before you get him to notice your shy side.

Piece of cake, talk to him. Make jokes and playfully shove him when you say hello. This might make you seem a little sport, but it will definitely encourage him to loosen up and smile.

By talking to him a few times a week, you will begin establishing a bond and he may start to tear down his wall for you. Make sure to do this in private and one-on-one. Don't even ask around close friends, or else he might feel uncomfortable. Make him feel confident around you. Be approachably attractive, but not so stunning and loud as to draw him away. If you want him to be the one to ask you out, try to become friends with him and keep him relaxed while staying close.
