Innocent girl -> she's a good girl -> girl you can take home to your mother -> wife material -> marry-able -> date-able.
For most guys that like innocent girls, this is likely the reasoning. Heck, it's even my own reasoning for liking innocent women. I might find some "bad" girls attractive sometimes, they aren't women I'd ever date or actively pursue.
The bad girls that are "confidant" usually come off as arrogant rather than confidant. Experience also doesn't always look good when you take her to your parents to meet your family. If she's been in a lot of other relationships already and has a lot of experience in them, it's usually looked down upon. Also, if the guy doesn't have much experience, either, he's probably not going to look for a woman with it. I'd rather get experienced with someone as inexperienced as me so we can both grow together. But, every guy's different.
Well from my point of view some guys prefer some one who hasn't slept around a lot and doesn't have emotional baggage from previous bad relationships. It's almost the upper echelon of females that are just everything you want pretty, sweet, nice and not damaged or "used".
Innocent girls are more feminine and child like and most men like feminine women. Bad girls and confident girls are also attractive in their own way but innocent girls most attractive in my opinion. Hope this helps.
Most guys I know go after the opposite, so not sure. Maybe the challenge has become the addiction in this particular dynamic. I could see maybe guys who are controlling doing so. They tend to not go after experienced/headstrong women.
It's called sharking, the younger they are the more dumb they are. Easy prey
Personally, these guys have one mission in life. How many young women can they screw tell the are satisfied.

sounds like he could be a player. however, [for me] an innocent girl mean is strong girl. the good girls are more dependable and not wanting to put others down.
Most of the guys who want an innocent in my experience, lack confidence.
because they are probably easier to get and less likely to reject in the long run and have generally better qualities than bad girls
