A red envelope what does it mean?

my sister dreamed that a messenger came to our house to give me a message in an envelope that envelope was red and it was really romantic it has a red heart and a stickers flowers she said it was really beautiful thing has a message in it,it says that I've an invitation to travel to a place and it was from a guy then my sister opened the envelope she road that I've an invitation to go to...!then she gave me that message then I was sad and sitting on sofa alone then I opened it and road it then threw it aside.That place is my best friend home town who I really really really love and I can't go to him in real life because he's too far from me so what's that dream means?

by the way I had a dream before 6 months that he gave me a black flower then things went bad between us in real life.

do you know how many dreams you've had in your life time? if you sleep an average of 8 hours per night, then you have about 5 dreams every night. if you're let's say, turning 19 today, then you've had approximately 34,675 dreams...you can only remember a select few of them, most of are just jumbled up images of what you're thinking about while you're asleep.

so no, dreams say nothing about the future, it's just what's going through your mind during REM sleep. sometimes coincidences occur. when I was little I always had a nightmare that the car started rolling away while I was in the back seat and my mum was out of the car. it happened once, my mum got out to get the mail and the car started rolling down the driveway.

but it's pure ridiculousness to say that all your dreams (34,675 of them) have some deep meaning for the future. your relationship would have gone bad whether or not you had that dream about the black flower. or maybe your paranoia about that dream caused you to behave differently.

dreams are indications of desires, hopes, fears, and emotion, not what's going to happen. so sorry to say but, dreams are just dreams and they say nothing about anything except what a person thinking about at any given moment...

last night I dreamt I was back in the Scotland; I've been having that dream over and over again the past few weeks. why? because I REALLY wanna go back to Scotland this March. if I go, it's not because my dreams foretold it, it's because I decided to pack my bags and go.

i also had a dream that my house was infested with guinea pigs...i like guinea pigs, but how on earth is that going to become a reality? and what about dreams of meeting celebrities and dreams that I'm at Hogwarts? sure, I'd like to meet Ewan McGregor and sure, I'd love to be able to do magic, but it's not happening lol.

Well I can't tell how but you can't change my mind about it because it happens from my childhood & I believe that there are dreams which is just dreams but when I dream about something it doesn't mean that I like it NO I dream about stuff that I don't even think about like I remember 1day I dreamed about that when I was coming back to home from school & met those guys who annoyed me then they fought me,i woke up & went to school then I was going back to home I met them then they annoyed me but I ignored them Soooo

Ok you've got 2 dreams which ended up manifesting themselves in real life. 2 down, 34,673 to go. people aren't clairvoyant. and so you met some guys that annoyed you...that happens to people every day, it's not some spectacular event. if you dreamt that a tree was going to fall on your neighbor's garage and it happened 2 days later, then I'd be impressed. I dream that I see my friends...guess what, when I went to school the next day I saw them. whoopy! everyday events!

But think what you want, whatever. dreams do have meanings, they are representations of our fears and desires and needs. you can learn a lot about someone based on their dreams and the themes that occur in them. but dreams aren't prophecies for future, they're thoughts. but if you want to believe that you and your sisters dreams foretell the future, fine. but don't expect people here to indulge that fantasy by telling you what's going to happen based on that dream.

I can tell you based on that dream, that you probably really wanna see this guy and you miss him. but you're not sure if you should tell him how you feel because things started going down hill between you two. so you're torn.

also, idk, but it sounds like you're a little upset with him, do you think he owes you an apology for something, did he hurt your feelings?

it's your choice to believe or not but I don't really care if you believe in dreams I just know that dreams not just only dreams most of it not like that I mean your dream is so stupid I meant who dreams like that?

if I dreamed like that I'd just believe it was only a dream.

Where did you get the info about people having 5 dreams a night? If no one remembers them all how can anyone possibly know how many we have? I don't think dreams predict the future but they can sort of guide us and make us do different things.

Where did I learn about the 5 dreams per night? psychology class. sleep occurs in cycles, the brain goes through different levels of activity and it does several times per night, depending on how long a person sleep. how do we know about theses cycles and how many dreams people have? because we can attach sensors to people's heads and know when people are dreaming. how do we know? because the brain is a whole lot more active when it's dreaming. that's why some people sleep talk and walk.

And yeah, to you my dreams are mundane and stupid. but to me, your dreams are just as dumb. and I am 100% positive that you do not remember even close to all of your dreams. so I'll bet you've had some random dreams about hot air balloons and squirrels in your life; you just can't remember them. dreams tell you about yourself; I do believe in dreams.

I think it represents that you do love your best friend, and want to be with him, but there is a reluctance to want to be with him or a reluctance to want to tell him your true feelings. This can be symbolized by the fact that you are throwing his invitation aside. His invitation in the red and romantic envelope shows his possible feelings for you, while your fear and anxiety towards the situation causes you to throw the invitation aside.

well I won't lie and say that I'm not afraid of telling him that but it's really scare and I know he asked me to go to him but I didn't answer him so I just cut off everything makes me in connection with him.

I don't think a red envelope means anything at all. Its the holiday season you see red everywhere these days, I see red envelopes all the time. Though you might not realize it your brain remembers things that were seen throughout the day or days prior. I dream of odd things all the time but when I really think hard about it I start realizing "oh yeah I saw that in a commerical " etc.

Some scientists think dreaming is our way of safely finding a solution to a problem that would cause us great distress if we encountered it in reality. Let's take your dream about being far away from you're friend. Maybe that's your mind trying to find a way to get you to said friend. Because it's obviously causing you some distress that you can't be with him, right? The theory might also explain repeat nightmares. All in all I think what it means is up to you to interpret. I don't think any of us are going to be able to seriously consider telling you what your own dream symbolizes.

Black is not a color at all - thus it as the mystrey card and destination unknown.

Red is considered the color of blood and the binding of marrage.

But with both in mind; you need to be careful that someone isn't out to play you like a tune.

It might just be a regular dream, or could mean something in the future... basically, I'd just consider it as a dream, but you could look at it as something in your life.

Well I never had a dream in my life that it was just a dream.

all my dreams have meanings & I just dreamed that he just gave me a black flower & after tht dream we just messed up & things went bad.

Dreams do not tell the future.

The black flower was probably you telling yourself that something wasn't right, just a bad feeling that things were going to get rough. Not a sign.

Dreams express your deep emotions, usually from the repressed side of your mind.

And I agree with madmisskelly. The dream was probably you thinking about how you like him but you're afraid to tell him how you feel.

Simple as that.
