Low maintenance girlfriend, good or bad?

Okay, so I think I'm too low maintenance. I don't think I"m a pushover, but I demand close to nothing, I'm not clingy, and I give my guy lots of personal space. But is this a turn-off? Will guys want to feel more "wanted" by their gfs (clinginess to a certain degree)? Will guys think that I don't care about them if I give them too much personal space? I don't think guys will ever admit things like that to their gf, but will they think that way? Is there such a thing as too low-maintenance?

By the way I do contact him, of course, just not too too often. I'm not being passive or anything, I'm actually quite proactive in our relationship.

First of all this depends on the guy, everybody has a different take on how they like the dynamics of their relationship to be. And I cannot know exactly what your relationship is like purely based on your question.

But one thing I will suggest, though you may be very confident and lax, make sure you are still showing him that he is wanted/important/useful and most importantly needed. This could be an issue, and come off like you just don't care that much. Sometimes people like to be checked up on, and worried about, and cared for, and to give care to someone else.

Try maybe once every couple weeks, doing something purposely, whether it be big or small, to show him he is needed and important to you. It will make a huge difference and you may get the same in return.
