What does it mean if your boyfriend calls you bro or mate?

He's never called me "bro" names before until recently, even before we were dating. Sometimes I say "man" or "dude" but not to the extent that he says hi or goodbye with a bro name. Now it's "hey broski" or "sounds good broski" or "aight mate" or "thanks broski" What does that mean?
