I have never dated a girl but I feel I can kinda be picky because a lot of them seem attracted to me for some reason. If I am desperate to get a very good girl I can settle with a less good girl who is already attracted to me (by good I mean not only her looks but her personality too). But the problem is that I am too shy to approach a really good girl and too picky to settle for another girl. Is it actually normal?

In my opinion it's normal for a guy in general to be picky. Studies show guys generally pursue the top percentage of most attractive gals. Heck most dating advice for guys is how to get a hot young gal.
