In my opinion it's normal for a guy in general to be picky. Studies show guys generally pursue the top percentage of most attractive gals. Heck most dating advice for guys is how to get a hot young gal.

I'm the same way. I settled for this girl who was insanely attracted to me. She didn't like how I was settling for her and problems started. I ended up breaking up with her.
