Why does this girl shy away from my attention?

I think this is so weird, I don't know how a girl will shy away or get away from attention, since I know girls LOVE attention. I am subtle cause I am a little shy myself, but I do flirt with girls. But this girl its just hmm weird? The first time she was great, flirty and friendly and then she shy's away from me? Like trying to avoid me? Ignoring me and being somewhat rude as well, but at the same time being shy while she is doing all of this.

Is she damage goods? She wants me to get away from her? What is going on?

well... I see two options. The first one, (and keep in mind this is according to what I have done in the past, and how I would act), she wants you to go after her. She made the first move, flirting and being friendly, and now she wants you to make the next move by talking to her, calling her and whatnot. The second one, she may think you like her and is feeling scared about it.. either becuase she likes you or .. because she doesn't want to be too rude with you by telling you to leave her alone. I have done all of the above.. and well I know that doesn't really helo you much.. but, look for hints. Try to get to talk to her in private, not about the situation but about random stuff, just be friendly without going after her too much...give her a bit of space, and see what she does. That is my opinion on it.. don't know if it helps.. but I hope it gives you some ideas. Good luck!

She just doesn't want to seem desperate or the move-maker. Like you know, girls are shy because they're very concern about their reputation.

maybe at first, she didn't like you, then , she got shyer and shyer because she started to really like you, .
