Boring texters what should I do?

so there's this guy i met not too long ago. whenever i text him it's kinda annoying cause he'll leave me on read or just say "lol" this is our conversation from today and one from yesterday. it kinda makes me feel ugly too cause when i send pictures of myself he'll just say "lol" am i boring or is he just boring or what should i do? should i keep talking to him or just ignore him back?

You're not giving him open ended topics. like for example the picture you want him to think its funny and he does so he just says "lol" if you want a conversation on it just say something like "what do you suppose that cats thinking of?" as for the left on read part he is not obligated to respond if he doesn't feel like it. I get it, its pretty annoying but if he doesn't want to take the time to respond then he isn't worth your time.
