His voice changes pitch when he talks to me?

My crush who I think also likes me back seems to talk to me in a higher pitched voice. I heard him talk in his normal voice when he talks to his friends and it's different than when he talks to me. He will start talking to me in his normal pitched voice but as we talk he gets higher. It kind of matches the pitch of my voice like he's mimicking me. I noticed a pattern though. He seems to go higher pitched when I try to tease him, and be funny or cute.
The internet says when a guy likes a girl, his voice usually gets lower and more manly. This is different.

i do the same, everyone has 6 voices, the one you talk to family, the one you talk to friends, the serious one, the playful one, the chill one and the one to the opposite sex. i always have a higher softer voice when it comes to females so i dont feel as threatening, because some vioces can be intimidating to some people.

Probably because he's shy and nervous. When you are relaxed you talk more slowly and calmly so it's lower.

Not all guys react the same way whenever they are into a girl. His voice gets high pitched because he is probably nervous
