What does "Saturdays are for the Boys" mean?

I've been hearing a lot of guys say that Saturdays are for the boys. Where did this phrase come from and what does it mean? lol. Is it a day where all single guys like party and go crazy or is it a day for guys in a relationship to get away from their girlfriends lol. I be seeing the posts all over the place. lol

It probably means a day where a guy gets a break. And a lot of people do this on Saturday, hence "Saturday is for the boys"

I think it's a good idea. Some people have their phones off all Sunday. Everybody needs a break.

On saturdays, we crack a cold one with the boys and relax. Girls do it too..
