What does it mean when a guy says he’s thinking about you?

I’ve been talking to a guy for about a month now. We talk every day and he’s very consistent but a few days a go he just randomly told me that he’s been thinking about me. I asked him what specifically he was thinking about and he just said that he was thinking about me? What does that mean? Or what kind of hint is he trying to drop?

It means that you have been on his mind, which a good sign. He may be trying to drop a sign that he likes you, but he is at least interested in you for you to occupy some of his day-to-day thoughts.
