There is this guy at church, who weeks on end, stares at me from across the room during service. Not in creepy way, but like admiration, and his focus (at least from what I can tell) is on my face. He doesn't look away though 99% of the time, when I look back. I am a really introverted, reserved person, but would try to return his gaze. This went on for a while, until one day as I was leaving, I was going to smile at him, but when I caught his gaze, right at that moment, another girl was at the end of his aisle and started talking to him. He without hesitation got up and was leaning into her as they spoke, and pretty close to her. It seemed flirty, which I was surprised because he had just spent weeks giving me the googly eyes and I thought a bit playerish on his part.
I, for the most part, now generally ignore him. But the thing is that was months ago and he STILL stares at me from across the room. It's like he's waiting for a reaction from me?
I don't get it? What's the point in staring at me for like months?
