Is being the mysterious man a good thing?

So basically all through high school I was friends with virtually all the popular guys and was kinda one myself except I'm shy and don't talk to girls. I also played junior hockey (still do) and a part time soldier (in Canada you can join at 16 )so everyone knew who I was. Good looking girls would always try and come to talk to me but I would always just walk away or pretend I wasn't interested... then in my last semester in grade 12 philosophy class everyone, individually had to go to the front of the class and everyone in the class would say one word to describe you. Several girls (hot ones)called me mysterious lol wtf is that supposed to mean and is that good?

And if your wondering.. no I've never had a girlfriend, virgin, and never even kissed a girl. I know I'm pathetic.

And no I never partied I just think its retarded and I hate players

there's different types of guys: the loud confident ones, the loud bad boy types, the quiet guys (could be confident or bad boys or insecure but we don't know because they are quiet) those are just a few types, and you sound kind of like a more reserved quiet type. because you act like you don't care or turn girls down they think it's mysterious. just like guys enjoy trying to catch a girl, girls like trying to catch guys but in a different way. we like trying to find ways to control guys but if you don't pay us attention that's quite a challenge. have you ever seen shows where they say you should act mean to a girl for her to like you? it's not really being mean. it's just having your own life and not being easily controlled. if you answer every phone call and are always available that's boring. but if you are busy playing hockey and hanging with friends and reading philosophy books, that's intriguing and therefore adds to your mysteriousness.

but I'm guessing you do want a girl. why wouldn't you? so you will have to get out of your comfort zone a bit. I think the guy I like right now might be like you. he even said one night after he 'd gotten completely drunk that he pretends he doesn't care, but really he does. he also knows how I am about signs so he every now and then mentions that aries and aquarius are a good match. of course I am waaay dense so I didn't catch on at first but throwing little hints towards the girl you like is good because the girls who are right for you will love trying to figure you out and they will love that you try to figure them out. yay for mysterious boys! =)

First off, your not pathetic. your a nice young man who obviously has a good head on his shoulders. My boyfriend is exactly like you(im his first gilrfriend) He always avoided girls and is very shy. Some girls find that attractive and they want to get to know the guy because he is "mysterious" to me, mysterious means that they don't know you, like you have different sides to you... like nice, sweet, shy.. but I wouldn't know what your mood would be. I guess it would depend on the type of girl your around. and hey I hate partying too. there's nothing but jerks and sluts at most partys, not all of them, but most. if you want to find a nice sweet girl, you won't meet her at a party.

first of all, let me say that being a virgin and still having your first kiss is very cute and nothing to be ashamed of; you just haven't found the right girl for that stuff to happen yet, its quite alright. :)

moving on, the fact that girls call you mysterious means that theyre curious as to why you don't talk to girls. they see that you're popular, good looking, and fit, so they don't understand why you haven't had a million girlfriends. ;p being mysterious isn't a bad thing, it can actually be sexy. girls feel like they have a bit of a chase with you because of your shyness

And there is nothing wrong with being inexperienced. And I hope I meet some-one like you (never had a GF, virgin, never kissed a girl, and hate parties). I hate parties too, I really don't see the point in dancing with other guys. I'm not a party girl and I am inexperienced and loud and proud of it :D

I think when the girls used the word mysterious they were just trying to say you have many differnet sides to you. Maybe you act differently around differnet types of girls. I personally don't like mysterious guys. I like guys who are honest, outgoing, and straight forward, but some girls are differnet. They like mysterious guys because everything is a suprise and they don't know what they are going to get.

Don't call youself pathetic. Its okay, if you haven't gotten your first kiss, Many people get it at differnet ages. I don't party either, and going to parties isn't the only way to meet girls.

Mystery in women is definitely attractive. I think men can be mysterious too. But not TOO mysterious. Not all girls like chasing to find out stuff. But, keep some things for later. That way it never gets boring. :)

I think it just means they would like to get to know you better, see you at your most confident. It's generally a good thing as long as they didn't say it in a rude tone, which would indicate they are sick of you.
