Are we attracted to people who seem 'exotic' or that look foreign?

I come from a country where almost everyone has dark hair, dark eyes. I was walking in Barcelona, Spain this weekend and would get a lot of blonde, light brown haired, blue/green eyed guys checking me out. Some of them would even hold my gaze for a few seconds, even the ones walking with their girlfriends.

Depends on the person. For me the most all around attractive people are not exotic at all as they have porcelain skin, brown hair, and brown eyes. all very common traits in Canada

It is kind of the same for me. Dark hair and light-brown eyes would do. I feel like Green/Blue eyes are colder.

I just find the most attractive and life filled eyes are a rich deep brown, but dull brown eyes are less attractive than even the dull green and blue eyes

And naturally black hair usually looks scraggly but not always, so I specify brown because it almost always looks at the very least not unhealthy

Well, light-to-medium brown eyes for me are like chocolate: warm, and inviting. Though I guess it depends on the person.

Indeed. I've seen a few girls with eyes so dark you can't tell where their pupils begin and end. Sounds creepy but only times I've ever felt smitten from looks alone lol

I don't think it has to do with appearance as much. I've seen girls of all races that were ugly, average, and some that were stunning. I do like girls who have an accent and a slightly different culture. I enjoy learning about different cultures.

It depends on how you define exotic. As in a foreign person, that's very different. As in tattooed butch pierced up individual, that's not anything exotic I'm attracted to or that I'd like, at all.
