Do you think most guys who hate "sluts" - especially the ones who proclaim it strongly - are actually turned on by them but are in self-denial?
I think deep down most men really are aroused by women who've slept around or done sexual things with the average neighbor, co-worker, boss, student, customer, etc. but are suppressing it because they've never had that kind of experience or opportunity with women like that and are actually frustrated about it, so they try to label them so badly as a way for them to feel better about it. And also because these women may have more sexual experience or sexual knowledge than they do and it would of course bother them.
I think most guys really are attracted to "sluts" but are mentally overwhelmed by them and are in denial. What do you think?

I personally think a woman is going to cheat on you if you allow it to happen to you, you should respect ladies otherwise you will get nothing by aggression on first date but during the course of relationship your consistency and inflexible attitude towards cheating or things related to it will make it perfectly clear to her, if She cheats its done find a new man. She will probably call you many things for it and do her best to manipulate you in to something (woman are good at it just look at number of guys that their g. f back after cheating)

No, I don't.
I think there are two common 'negative' views men have about sluts. But to recognize what's going on we need to step back and see why men's instincts around sex are probably how they are.
Men seem to have an instinct to randomly screw available women. Men also fall for women, at which point they get jealous, protective, etc. It's likely both have uses from an evolutionary standpoint - one takes a shot at having random kids, the other invests resources in your highest likelihood of survival kids.
One group of men looks down on sluts, but is happy to sleep with them. These guys view them as good for fucking but not loyal enough for relationships. These sorts of guys tend to view most women as highly likely to cheat around hot men (which likely comes from the fact that these guys have lots of women cheat -with- them). So they want very faithful women as partners.
A larger group, who 'hate' sluts more is men who don't get laid. Those guys perceive that when women are relationship focused, people tend to pair off one by one. In an open 'hookup' world, they perceive that most women sleep with a smaller group of 'hot' men. They are not in that group. So they're angry because sluts, instead of pairing off (with them) are instead going around fucking a bunch of hot guys who get lots of partners.
I do not think 'secretly turned on by it and ashamed' is a major driver. Some guys -are- turned on by it, but they seem a minority. More guys seem to be turned on by a virgin, from a pure 'turn on' standpoint.
The same could be said for salty bitches who pretend to be repulsed by Chad womanizers. They're just mad because they can't control him sexually. But yes, they want his dick in their every orifice and they want it BAD. Incel types who shit on sluts are no different. Of course they want to fuck them. But they can't, so they take up a bogus moral posture about hating sluts. Most of them would be all for sluts if only they could score one. Which makes me sad, because I legit hate sluts and I wish more people hated them for the right reasons.
Although I think you're right in most cases there are legitimately men and women who don't like sluts and just want to find someone with self control and traditional morals. This may be the point for which slut walks are meant to raise awareness. Women own their own sexuality, same as men. As long as they accept responsibility for their choices, I have no problem with that. And they have good points. But I believe in freedom of almost every kind. As long as you aren't hurting others, or taking things from others, I think we should all be able to do whatever we want whenever we want. I often feel very alone with that particular principle.

The reason I, and many men that I've talked to, don't like promiscuous women is because when we want a decent and wholesome relationship we can't take sluts seriously for that so we get mad that they would choose that road instead of being in a monogamous relationship.
If me, being a man, can have enough self control to turn down women for sex that I can tell want it because we want to find a good partner and want to be a good partner that hasn't slept around with dozens of women then I expect a good woman to do the same.
And sometimes when I meet a woman thinking maybe she's actually a halfway decent woman who has self control and is not controlled by her carnal urges then I get a little disappointed when I find out she's just the same as pretty much every girl nowadays with little or no self control.
It's not a jealousy thing, it's not an intimidation thing, it's a "I want to find someone like me" thing. Plus there are studies to show that the more partners a woman has the more likely she is to cheat or be unable to pair bond and stay loyal. It also shows they are impulsive and make rash decisions which is never a good thing. That's a big no-no for me.
I have never cheated on a girl/woman and I never will, even though I've had opportunities, and some even with women more attractive than the girlfriend at the time. It's just a sh*tty thinkg to do to someone.
So, in conclusion, I can't speak for ALL men but I think a lot more often than not there are men like me that just want a wholesome and good girl and when there are practically none left we get frustrated sometimes.

I disagree. Hate is a strong word. I think most men would prefer not to marry a "slut". I know a lot of men, who view a woman who has had multiple sexual encounters as "damaged goods".

Easy sluts are great as they provide a quick release and some bragging rights of just having gotten laid. Low expense and low effort.
Now for a long term relationship it is completely different. Her reputation will reflect on the guy. She is was screwed by so many people and therefor thought of less by the community and even his friends. He is thought of less because that is all he could get, damaged goods. Ten years into the relationship and still people will see her as cheap and him as stupid.
It's not an interest in a girl that's been run through by so many guys, perhaps it is envy (that they/ we can't as easily have as many sex partners as we want) and resentment that they and society push us to accept them after they've been so thoroughly defiled.
