What does it mean if a guy forgets something at your place?

So I invited him up to my apartment after we grabbed food on a night out. Nothing happened but when I woke up I found his gloves on my coffee table.

I texted him today and told him I think he might have left his gloves at my place. It’s colder than cold where we live right now.

His response was, “I’ll get my gloves sometime :)”

Do you think he did it on purpose?

Listen in situations like this make the situation what you want it to be! You should've texted:

you:I can't believe you
him: what?
you: all you had to do was ask
him: what do you mean?
you: can't believe you pulled the leave an item behind just so you can return to see me... well now I might keep em.

not that, but you get the gist... got to try to see where you stand using a tactic of your own, instead of leaving it up in the air... and just being confused.
