Either he likes keeping busy or he likes you. I know i won't offer to do shit for someone im not interested in. Maybe a one-time chivalrous thing, but not constantly. The good thing about this is that he likes you, or at least he's interested and is trying to prove his worth.

It could mean that, but not necessarily. If someone I know needs something and I am able to do it, I will help even if I have no romantic interest in them at all. That is just the kind of person I am.

It's a pretty big sign, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he likes you. Acts of service are a huge part of how men express their affections, but the real indication is far out of his way he is going to help you. If he's a master mechanic who offers to look at your car before going home, and your house is on the way, that's different from the guy who drives way across town to look at your car.
