Guy's Behavior

Why would a guy sharing a meal with a girl and would not mind eating using the same plate and using the same spoon?

It happens during lunch time and we usually eat together. I never met this kind of male friend. I mean i have other close guy friends but at least we will eat in separate plate. But this guy willingly to eat food which I brought from home, from my plate and using my spoon. I am surprised. I don't mind to share the food but not on the same plate and using the same spoon. He will only get other spoon and other plate when I ask him to. Sometimes he love to making me a cup of tea and only for me not him. That was nice. This behaviour started since I cannot finish my food and he ask to finish it. Then he ask it again on the other day. He sort of complaining once when it is always the same menu. But he eat it anyway. What the heck? One day I brought a different menu and I offered him to try it. He refused at first then suddenly he changed his mind and would want to try it. Why he act that way?
