What does it mean when a guy kisses you and tells you he likes you but then doesn't text or call?

I've had a crush on this guy for a while but I'm bad at expressing my feelings so I never initiated anything. He'd flirt with me and try to chat when I'm around but that's about it. Then pretty recently, we made some progress. We hang out at an event together and ended up leaning against each other and holding hands and stuff, then he drove me home. We didn't talk after that and then I was planning a small party at my house and invited our mutual friends. I'm good friends with one of his buddies so I asked him to invite him ( I did mention the party to him a few weeks prior and he told me he'd come then).
We played a game of never have I ever, and one of our friends asked if we've ever fantasized about someone in the room. None of us admitted we'd done it and right after that question, said friend asked if we've ever lied in the game. He looked at me and said that he admits to lying in the previous question. After that, I got tipsy, he didn't drink because he wasn't feeling well, and we ended up hanging out and the he kissed me. Then our friends interrupted us and after a while he excused himself and I went to check up on him so he told me to stay with him. We ended making out and cuddling for like an hour, he told me he liked me and that he couldn't stop kissing me. I admitted that I felt the same and that went on until we were interrupted again. His friend told him that it was getting late and that they needed to leave and so he left. It's been a few days now and he didn't text or call me.
Does this mean anything or am I just giving myself false hope?

A guy wouldn't forget about the girl he kissed that he likes. He might have just done that to test if he actually does like you. Like if he feels butterflies in his stomach when he did that. If he didn't, then he just likes you as a friend and wants to keep it that way. Another one is that he is also bad at communicating his feelings. He's shy about it. He's probably thinking about you right now, but he just doesn't know how to tell you that he really liked it. That he wants more of you. Don't get your hopes up, but don't give up either. Try and meet with him. Face to face and tell him your feeling then grab his face and kiss him. Make him feel that you're serious about what you said😂. Just telling him in text won't tell him that. You need to do it in person😊

I guess I'll have to see him again and try to figure out what's on his mind. I don't want to straight up confess and make things awkward. Perhaps when we meet again I'll get my answer from his reaction.

He probably doesn’t think you are interested and gave up. You didn’t give him any indication that you like him even after kissing he probably think you kissed him cause you had to and now is freaking out that you might tell people he forced it on you. That’s why you women need to be clear with you intent how is he supposed to know you like him back he can’t read your thoughts

I told him that I liked him back and that I really enjoyed kissing him. I wouldn't have made out with him like that if I didn't like him.

that usually means a few things:

1. he is totally ghosting you, but would feel too guilty telling you you're so opposite of his type it's not even funny, so instead he "let's you down easy" (eye roll)

2. He is a horrible communicator

3. Like many men of all ages and backgrounds, he could have issues with commitment, but that doesn't mean he isn't into you

4. He honestly forgot. Sometimes guys just get busy

5. He thrives off of leading you on and enjoys telling you what you "want to hear" (eye roll again) . Most guys are fuck-boys so this is likely
