Why do some men think supporting women is unmanly?
Supporting women isn't unmanly at all. What is unmanly is sucking up to them and talking about how men should be obedient to women. Like I've said before, it's possible to respect women without treating them all as though the Sun shines out of their asses, that's really what people find annoying.
It's like on one side there are the misogynists - incels, MGTOW, Muslims and Alt-Right clowns who insist that women should be submissive at all times, should not be treated equally under the law etc. With the idea that men are better than women, women are entirely to blame for all of society's ills, and men can do no wrong.
Then on the other side there are male feminists who have the opposite view where they think that women are better than men, men should be submissive to women, men are entirely to blame for society's ills and women can do no wrong.
It's like there's no in-between. People go to these silly extremes. I mean I tell you that a lot of what you're saying is wrong because I think you have too, but at the same time seeing the comments on your stuff about women in history, inventions and all that and the angry comments... Again I think this is what causes people to go to extremes. There's always this over-reaction to the other side, and it's dumb.

It's bad for many reasons.
Firstly, some women are simply no good. They don't deserve to be worshipped just because they're women. Good women deserve respect, no-good women do not.
Secondly, the more guys like yourself praise no-good women and act as though women can do no wrong, the more you encourage shitty behaviour in women. Modern feminism is destroying the West, and that was helped along by guys who did nothing but suck up to and pander to fucked up women.
Thirdly, the more you see women as these angels the less likely you yourself will be able to spot the bad from the good. This mentality leaves you open to being manipulated, walked all over and used. There are certain other guys here you'll see constantly talk about how their girlfriends control them, and I see these guys agree with you on your posts all the time. For some reason they either can't see or refuse to see how this behaviour leads them to get used and trampled on all the time.
Lastly, women just don't respect men who kiss ass. You see this in female replies to a lot of your posts. Some will tell you that you're sweet, that it's cute etc. Only because you're a young naive guy. Those are the things they say to guys they friend-zone. That's the point I've been trying to get through to you - you can respect women without being a kiss-ass, and that's the only way you can have them respect you back.
I like kissing ass as a sexual thing. But that's off topic. If I make a mytake that is anti women like you I'm sure there will be no opinions like:"OMG a mysogonist, THAT'S SO HOT!!".

Even with dominance and submission there's this black and white thinking too. A dominant woman automatically = smart, a submissive woman = dumb, and there are no women in-between? There's a difference in supporting, and holding up on a pedestal. Personally I'm uncomfortable if a guy promotes me, I'm also uncomfortable if they put me down. Men and women are different in so many ways. We're not equal to each other. We're not meant to be. If we can all accept that, then let's just stop talking about gender all together. It's a moot point. We're not oppressed anymore, and I promise you, I have more rights and privileges than most men these days. Want it to stop being a problem? Stop talking about it.
It doesn’t make sense to me either. I mean, all these men have mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers. Each man is related to at least one other woman, I would support my family as well.
Because supporting what is now called "Women's rights" is supporting misandry aka hatred of men. It's not about equality. You are a male feminist basically. The most unmanly guys are in that group. So if you want to be seen as a real man, you have to support equal opportunity.
I support women rights unless they are reducing male rights. If there is a conflict, I'm for compromises according the equality rule, especially in matter of divorce and childcare, where equality is really a joke of misandrist oriented state.
A society that controls women over laws and peer pressure, gives an advantage to weak men which think they became strong men an women naturally accepted them as leader. (what is an illusion) Such society suppresses strong women as well, which could be very good role models for other women. Hence is such society degenerative over longer time frame, because it suppresses the natural sex competition.
What happens in the west isn't a problem of gender equality. It's a problem of growing nihilism and never ending hedonistic pursuit for pleasures. The one sex has all responsibilities the other one has to consume beyond all needs. Under such circumstances is a healthy competition of sexes not possible as well.
Seems to be a stigma or attitude that if you support women, the only way to correctly do it is to put down men. You already said you think women are better in some regards, so already you are putting down men instead of going after equality.
