They are always the ones initiating contact but they do call me "bro" or "nigga" etc
For example:

Guy#1 - hey whats up?
Me - not much, you?
Guy#1 - just done my training, what u doing tomorrow?
Me - oh just work
Guy#1 - oh nigga u must be busy all the time
Me - no shit nigga
Guy#1 - was going to ask u to come see me tomorrow

Guy#2 - you like hiking?
Me - not really, do you?
Guy#2 - yeah bro ofcourse I like to keep fit and active, we should go hiking one weekend

Doesn't mean he's friendzoned you. Some people are together and they call each other bro. Might not be the norm, but it happens.

What is says to me is that he's not overly-concerned with trying to impress you. That's actually a good thing in my opinion. Better than being a try-hard. Now, if he's doesn't show any signs of affection or anything, THAT cis what you need to pay attention to: this could mean he's not interested and only sees you as a casual pal.

I voted "no" because I've jokingly used both of those on girls I've liked in the past. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions unless he tells you upfront that he sees you as only a friend. That's really the only 100% sure way of knowing. 👌
