Do guys 18/19 tell their moms about girls they like?

I work with a guy this age and each week we have been getting more friendly with each other and I can tell by how he interacts with me vs others, he likes me. I tried to show interest back so I complimented something of his, held a small conversation, and then I try to look at him a lot and I wished him a great night after work (this happened yesterday). A lot of coworkers date each other at my work, it isn’t a huge no no or anything.
anyways, today, his mom came during his shift and he brought her up to order a drink for her from me. And she and I even made small talk and she was very friendly. do you think she knows anything or am I just being wishful? Would guys ever tell their moms this stuff?

The last time I involved my mom in my love life I was like 19 and she pointed me toward a girl that was wrong for me and it didn't work out. So after that I stopped involving my parents in those decisions at all. I still want them to meet my gfs and one day wife. But I dont take their input or advice anymore because they are biased in my favor and will not give me useful advice. They will simply tell me what I want to hear.

It's probably not like he brings you up like "yo mom, this girl i really like her" but if you hang together a lot you'll probably be mentioned several times in stories about work. If you're in those story a lot his mom for sure knows he's into you, but that's just because she knows him really well. You can always feel a certain energy when people talk about someone they like

I mean some guys do but it is very far from the norm. At least in the sense of "hey mom I meet this girl I think is cute" it could he he brought up that he had met you if she had asked for that sort of information and she was able to pick up or assumed a certain intent. That at least would be far more likely.
