Do guys tell a girl "good night" at the end of their conversation if he likes her more than a friend?

My guy friend and I were texting for 30 minutes straight and at the end he ended the convo (it was getting late) and said "alright gn" (gn means good night, he didn't spell it out). he's never texted me that before and we texted at night like this before too. we've recently been hanging out a lot too and there's def flirting on both sides. pretty sure he's into me and he knows i'm into him (but i'm not 100% about this so...).

Anyways, what does good night text mean for guys?

Spelling out the word or not is a personal preference. I do it if I LIKE the person, but more than anything else, it's a just a sign that they put effort into getting to know you.

In the end I would say it's a good sign, but it doesn't mean that they like you for sure.
