Guy's Behavior

Was he flirting with me or insulting me?

Today me and my roommate were in the student center of our college talking when this random guy came up and started talking to us and said he was waiting for his phone to charge.

He sat down and introduced himself and dapped us up and he took his off and we all started talking for a while

Eventually we got to the part where I told him I was way more quiet and my roommmate was outgoing and he said his birthday was September 12th and we’re both virgos and he was like “Virgo’s go great with everyone” and he also was like “quiet people are more intelligent” then he was like “yeah when I’m dating a girl I tend to go for the more quiet ones” which i thought was weird for him to just say randomly and then my roommate nodded at me like she was trying to set us up or something and he was like “oh no I’m not trying to-“ and started motioning to me so I kinda took that as an insult lol.

Then he was like “I like it because I wanna know what they’re thinking” and my roommate was like “what are you thinking about?” she said that to me and he started laughing. Then he eventually said if he saw us around campus he would wave and stuff and it was nice meeting us.

Then after we left my roommate was like “he was totally flirting with you” which I didn’t think so because I felt like he would’ve asked for my number but I didn’t think so because he was like “oh I’m not trying to-“ after he said the quiet girls thing and that made me think he wasn’t. What do you think
