A guy has watched every single one of my instagram stories for almost a year. Interested or not?

He has followed me on instagram since the start of this year and I noticed that during this time he has not missed a single story update of mine. He even watches them promptly. I update my story often.
He does follow like 400 people on Instagram.
I’ve couple times commented on his story and he has promptly replied back to me BUT he hasn’t reached out to me... should I just block him?

These are the reasons why he would watch your stories:
1) Uses instagram a lot, so he watches majority of the stories
2) Is curious about you
3) Is interested in you

However, watching stories is low effort, it is not enough interest. Send him DMs and talk to him, and see if he initiates next time. If not, he is not interested.

Yeah but not lately. I feel like he only replies to then of he has really good excuse like if he congratulated me for graduating or offers condolences. One time he replied when I posted something really funny...

Well he hasn't reached out to you in that way so forgive me if this all kinda seems like a mental backflip to me, because if that wasn't the case you say he would have had plenty of good opportunity to state otherwise. And I agree on that he would have had plenty of opportunity.

I don't really see why this would make you uncomfortable enough to block him but you'd probably have reason for that🤷‍♂️

Well it's just that I see no other reason to read into it like that, but if you have or find it strange that isn't entirely something you should ignore

Leaves a lot of possibilities on how he feels because he could be watching out of routine like he does all other stories, he could watch being curious but not interested, he could be watching with conflicted interests and he could watch with interest but not being able to act on it
