I don't really have a "number", it's more of a case-by-case basis.
For one, everyone has a different story, and therefore a different motivation. Some people in fact, who have not had sex with very many people, raise just as much of a red flag for me as others who have had sex with an abundant number of people. I think what is important is that whoever I am engaging with sexually has what I consider to be a healthy mindset regarding sex. A 25 year old virgin? She might have some weird hang ups. (But I'd probably go for it anyway, lol. Virginity is hot.)
Secondly, people have different lengths of time they've been sexually active. If someone has been sexually active for a year and had sex with 50 people, that's a lot more activity than someone who has been sexually active for 25 years and had sex with 50 people. (50/year vs. 2/year).
All that said, I think on average if someone has sex with between 1-6 people/year that's pretty stable. If they are constantly hopping from one to the next that's a red flag. If they hardly ever have sex, that's another. Putting either too much thought or not enough thought into sexuality are some extremes that I would watch out for.
Ok so here's the thing;
It doesn't matter how many people youve slept with if you just moved and dont know anyone in town. This is why divorcees move.
Obviously it only takes 1 to get an std so a low number isn't a security policy either.
And anywhere in the middle of 1 and infinity just makes men calculate how likely you are to go back to your previous encounters, which gets exponentially higher for every one.
So fuck as many men as you want, but know that if you want to reset, you have to move to where nobody knows you and you dont know anybody.
