Why is he intimidated by me and puts himself down?

This guy who started talking to me never accepts me compliments and is intimdated by my body. Why is he like this when he just wrote a book and sold it on amazon?

he is shallow. if he wasn't shallow, he would not pay so much attention to your body and would be more focused on your personality
