Men, should a woman really bring her pretty friends around?

I've met different woman who are afraid to post pictures of them with their friends because they're scared the man they're looking at might try to hit their friend up (especially if she thinks her friend is better looking than her).
While this makes a lot of sense, there was a study online that was like "no you're doing it all wrong, you scientifically look better when with a group of lady friends" so here I am again with another good question. Men, what goes on inside your heads when a woman/your woman brings her pretty friends around? Would you discourage it? If so, to what extent? (ex: posting pictures with them is fine but bringing them around me is a little tempting)

If you're already in a relationship with a guy then it won't matter. He can consider your friends to be more physically attractive than you without that deminishing what he feels about you. If he's the kind of guy who hits in them because they're prettier, then he probably would've found a way to cheat on you regardless. And if you can't trust the one you're with, then you shouldn't be in that relationship.
If you're NOT already in a relationship but is interested in a guy, then it's certainly possible that he might go for your friends first if he considers them more attractive than you. Keep in mind, however, that what people find physically appealing differs from person to person. While there are patterns, it's never a guarantee, so you can't know for sure that he will find THEM more beautiful just because you yourself do. But regardless of what the case is, if he doesn't already find you attractive enough to consider an option then whether you're alone or with friends is probably not going to make that much of a difference.

I´d say it´s a bad idea especially if she feels her friends are prettier because I will check them out. If they are really looking I notice that and she might see that and it will lower self-esteem probably so it´s not the best idea.
I would discourage especially if I know that my girl-friend is self-concious about her body. I would never see it as necessary that she brings them around because even if I really would look on their photos bring them around let me get to know them would be worse.
Guys look at pretty girls all day but we´re pretty soon forgetting about them if we never see them again. Getting to know them would help me remembering them meaning by bringing them around you would put my loyalty to you to a test because you enhance the chance that I remember them to a level that I never would achieve by just looking at some photos.

i see a lot of guys saying bad idea. sorry i don't agree. your friends are your friends you can not and should not disown them for a guy. and lets be honest unless you disown them he is going to meet them or see pictures one day. if he really is that shallow he's going to hit on your mates after getting with you then he doesn't deserve you and you should loose him any way. if not dating and he hits on them not you then you've dodged a bullet. the only way it ends badly is if you get jealous and cut your friends out of your life for the sake of a relationship with a guy you don't feel comfortable enough with for you to have friends

If a girl cannot bring her friends around because she's afraid the boy will try to pick up on her friends then she knows something and what is she doing with that guy then anyway end this is it you did try to do it and if the girl did not tell her friend that her boyfriend just tried to pick up on her and she's got a friend either and it just goes to show you relationships not going to work anyway because you both are together because of the looks on the outside of what you both look like on the outside you need to understand when you are going to date somebody you need to know who they are on the inside that's who they truly are on the inside know what they look like somebody picks or a partner somebody to date just because of what they look like on the outside it's never going to work anyway

You don’t tie a guy down with your looks, you do it with your intelligence and personality, if he is willing to dump you because he met somebody prettier, than he was an unstable variable to begin with, and not worth investing in. While some sacrifice is recommended, too much, suggests your with an incompatible person and should move on to somebody else.

I'd say that that's MORE of a reason, if anything: if a guy's going to cheat on you, you won't stop it by not giving an opportunity; he'll find one on his own. If he's not, then it won't hurt things. Better to learn sooner.
