So we have this inside joke that he always initiates about me dating this co-worker that not many people enjoy being around, he always jokes about setting us up, cuz he knows he’ll get a reaction. Two weeks ago he said he was sore and asked me to rub his shoulders, I was turned on instantly, but I just joked it off “Me? Rub your shoulders? Nah” all of me wanted to. He’s bought me snacks and suggested some pretty sappy love songs for me to listen to. He always picks with me, so I naturally assume we’re feeling one another, then he gets distant and weird like he’s avoiding me. I don't know what to think, but I really want this guy. What do you think his deal is?

If you really want him, ask him out. He has tried flirting with you and you knocked him back.

His 'deal' is you are showing any interest in him. Also he has other things going on in his life besides you, so he's not going to be 'all hot' every day. Especially when you aren't doing much to make him feel like you are interested.
