I went camping and had no wifi for 5 days and now my boyfriend is ignoring me.. why?

I told him last min on Thursday saying I was going I wouldn’t have wifi etc till Monday/Tuesday he asked me to transfer him some money before I go but I said I’d do it when I get back!
then I seen texted me on Friday afternoon just “:/.”
I finally reached out as I finally have wifi again and he’s online and seen my message but didn’t respond
so I double texted saying babe pls stay awake bc I wanna talk before I go to sleep
he's still ignoring me
... is this some sort of punishment?

This is such a good question because it extends way beyond you personally and captures a much bigger issue. We have almost evolved to a society that has no life without, phone, pc, social media, and so forth. In a sense, human interaction is being diffused and weakened to the point of all avoiding each other when in public. I personally have no social media, as this site is just a place for me to rant. If the net and communications go down, I am starting to wonder if people will collapse to chaos. Reality is on a slippery slope with our modern e-relationships lifestyle because the infatuation becomes blurred by the ease of fulfillment with just a mouse click to that of real human interaction. Therefore, your boyfriend was denied his instant feedback e-relationship feedback addiction and now is having a pissy-fit.

I mean he probably thinks you were off banging other guys all weekend. No contact, no communication he's got to be all up in his own head about it. And if he makes a huge deal out of it it's best to break it off with him! Either he trusts you or he doesn't and if you've never given him reason to doubt before it's not on you!

He’s did this before if I take a while to reply or if I’m busy he tries to make me wait for his time too but I can’t help it that my friends surprised me with a camping trip last min so for him to make me wait for his time is petty

Yeah it's super petty. You could try calling him out on it, or since he wants to play games and act like a child he just isn't mature enough to be in a relationship. Give it a shot at figuring him out but if the answers no good don't hesitate to cut and run

I haven't had Wi-Fi for years. I see it as a security vulnerability. It's also never been as stable or fast as a copper or optical connection. So, I just ditched my WAP in favour of wired connections. I just use 5G for everything on my phone and laptop and use a VPN to put all my stuff together on a local network.

As such, I don't see what not having access to Wi-Fi has to do with any of this.
