Why doesn't he believe I'm on birth control?

So my officially newly boyfriend (I've known him a little over a year tho) and I slept together last night and he wanted to come in me and asked if I was on birth control, I said yes and to not worry and trust me... he asked me at least 10 times over in over until he finally just came in me. The night morning he calls me to "check in" on me which he then proceeds to ask me if I'm really on birthcontol yet again... I ask him why he doesn't believe me and he says he's just paranoid, I told him I wouldn't lie about something like this... he then agrees with me yet thinks it's a good idea to take a morning after pill... I tell him that I don't think that's a good idea because I AM on birthcontrol and what if there's negative side effects? and he just has to believe me or there's no trust... I tell him I'll look to see if that's an option and I'll call him back, I haven't called back... who's in the wrong here? And why is he not trusting me?

I think he just wants to be super duper extra sure, some girls have lied about being on birth control to keep their man maybe he’s just paranoid. Just show him you birth control packet to calm him down. I don’t think anyone is in the wrong here, he’s just being responsible and you’re justified in your reaction. Tell him if he still doesn’t believe you then he should just put on a condom next time!

Oh okay then maybe tell him how you’ve made an appointment for the next shot in a couple of months. My ex also didn’t believe me when I told him I was on depo, he thought the pill was the only form of birth control lol

He sounds super paranoid and obviously doesn’t trust you. If he was so worried about it, why didn’t he pull out? There’s no need for plan b if you’re correctly using your birth control. I wouldn’t indulge him on that. He’s probably not going to chill out and suddenly trust you, so I’d probably just chalk the whole thing up to a mistake and move on.

Trust is not something that happens in one day it takes myltiple times and going throught with ehat you day, sooner or later trust starts to build and then he can trust what you say. Its also not your fault that he doesn't trust, something must have happened in his life where it proved to not trust other people. It happens.

It's really weird. If he doesn't trust you he should just wear a condom. Not repeatly ask that question. Maybe the opposite is his wishes but asking over and over wouldn't change that either. It's just dumb.

Honestly both, I don't understand why he doesn't trust me since this is the first time he's acting like this towards me... I'm 100% on birthcontrol already and don't want to use plan b in the mix to risk my health for him... like does that make any sense?

It makes sense why you feel upset but also makes sense why he’s checking so often. The risks of pregnancy far outweigh his risks of pissing you off because in a month you will no longer be mad but if the.0001% chance you did become pregnant in a month you would have more issues than venting on gag
