We’ve met quite a while ago and til like 2 months ago he was also super sweet, giving me compliments, flirting and stuff. We then started being more physical with each other and cuddled a lot and I really hoped we could become more. He then suddenly became super rude when we are texting and always tells me how everything I say is stupid, how I am not pretty and do everything wrong. We still meet every week and he is still very cuddly and quite nice and a bit flirty irl but his texts hurt me and even through I told him it hurts me it basically gets worse and worse every day. I honestly just assume he has lost feelings, but why does he have to be so rude?

He's abusing you. All abusers start off nice if they started off me and you wouldn't pay any attention to them. He's in the phrace of trying to break you and bend you to his will.
