I once glanced over at this guy (a distant friend) and smiled at him. Ever since, he began this thing of locking eyes with me for a few seconds, but since he wouldn't reply even when I tried msging him, I dropped taking interest. However, although he only sees me occasionally, he began hiding behind a door to stare at me as I spoke to people, and would even hide behind a wall/cupboard and stare. He'd also watch me from a distance and he'd literally bend his body over and continue staring if I move away. It all goes for like 30 seconds straight each time, which is a long time to watch someone, yet still, I wasn't creeped out. I was just used to this from him. Is this normal?
(It was only unsettling when he once began watching my every move from a distance for like 2 whole minutes straight without looking away. I hid behind a wall for a few seconds to avoid him, but even when I stepped out, he was still there, watching me.) I'm 25, he's 29 and it's been going for 5 years.

You caught his attention
That's not even my question. I know I did when I glanced over at him to which he basically thought I was interested in him. My questiion is if my reaction of not being creeped out by this normal?
Why would it creep you out if you like him?
I stopped liking him ages ago, even if I did like him, shouldn't his staring and hiding behind walls, daorrs and cupboards to stare of me for like 20 seconds straight creep me out? This has been going on for 5 years.
I stopped liking him 3 years ago
Um. No
