Why does my boyfriend call me a goddess?

My boyfriend told me that when we first started dating he couldn’t believe “this goddess” (me) was dating him. He’ll still calls me a goddess now (we’ve been together 2 years) e. g if I’m standing naked he’ll say it. But what does that mean, why does he say it?
