Why is my teacher acting weird?

So I have been in this class for a year and during class my male teacher will be talking to someone and will look at me and raise and drop his eyebrows towards me. I also catch him staring at me and he is always standing close to me or walking past me constantly for no reason. When ever I walk up to him to ask about the work he stands really close to me and overly smiles. Also I have seen him scan my body while talking to me. He also rubs my back when it’s just me talking to him alone. And sometimes he fidgets and acts nervous or studders around me. Lastly, he copies my gestures like if I cross my legs he will.

Sounds inappropriate.
I would also recommend being careful before reporting, as a false accusation could turn out really badly... but if it does make you feel really uncomfortable, talk to someone.
Do you know if he does the same to other girls?

Honestly, I don’t think anyone else has noticed this so I guess I’m the only one. I asked some other people and they didn’t relate

I think you should approach him directly and just let him know that he makes you feel uncomfortable and you don't appreciate him touching you.

then if he continues you have grounds to report him. otherwise it's your word against his and it will go nowhere. if it's nothing he will apologize and tell you he's sorry for coming across that way and he ment no harm and he will be more careful in the future.

You look at watch, they do same, you touch ear, they do same, cross legs etc.

As in they are mirroring you
