Why would a guy come up to me and ask if I wanted to see pictures of his baby, even though we don't talk much?

I've been noticing this guy at work looking at me a lot & it seems like he will stick around wherever I am at work and just sneak a peek whenever he thinks im not looking. I haven't talked to him much because he had a baby with his girlfriend that he is supposedly enganged to and ain't nobody got time for that commotion! Anyway I don't know why but I've been feeling like there has been some kind of chemistry between me & this guy for a while & it kind of frustrates me because I've been trying to avoid him at all costs yet, if he sees me he will glance at me even if I ignore him then it flatters me & causes me to like him more. Well one day at work, I was hanging out at this area he never goes to & then I notice him suddenly hanging around the same area talking to some guys being loud which I thought was odd of him because people say he doesn't talk much & he is quiet.. once everyone was gone he came up to me & asked if I want to see pics of his baby which ok whatever that's cool but then he asked questions about me like if I'm going to college & what I want to do with my life & such? I kind of thought he was trying to test the waters..& whenever I'd try to stop conversation he'd try to keep it going by asking me more questions? Was he hitting on me? I hardly talk to him so why did he ask if I wanted to see his baby?

Uhm no. Sounds like normal conversation and those are questions you ask people you don’t know that well. Nothing weird about that, seems more like wishful thinking on your part. And obviously he’s a proud new dad, lots of parents (especially new parents) love to talk about or show pictures of their kids because most of their life revolve around them and they love them so much. Seems like you’re overthinking and trying to make this something it’s not. And by the way I doubt he would use pictures of his new baby to lure a sidechick in you know.

Maybe he thinks you will be impressed and he’s trying to communicate his abilities to transform you into “Baby Momma” of your own. It may be away to seek approval and pat on back as a Serious Man and Father and Provider🤷🏻‍♂️.
