It would have a lot to do with what stage of a relationship they are in. When you are just beginning dating and fucking someone that (I Love You) comes out pretty easy with your dick inside her warm, moist and sweet pussy, when actually you know very little about her.

I'm sure there are manipulative a-holes out there who will say what they think their partner wants to hear in order to get laid. I doubt that it is most guys, more that it's most likely to trigger vocal responses online so more visible than the genuine guys.

That being said, from personal experience I'm still searching for the person I can say those words to, but no-one seems to feel the same towards me so...

This is horrifying to me. I've heard it a trend in the US and that's so unethical that I don't know where to begin. But beyond that, we almost never say, "I love you", here in Japan. Maybe we have our own ways of being lame here to outsiders' perspectives, but never trying to convince a girl that we love them in order to sleep with them.

Personally, I have never found that to be a trend. In my day, people were direct and nobody lied to get laid. It was what it was. Maybe that's how the kids do it these days. Lol.

For us, anything resembling sentiments of love is very committing words. You don't say that unless you are ready to spend the rest of your life with someone. We have playboys here and loose women there. But there is no use of love as a way to wrestle someone into the bedroom. That seems disgusting to me, bluntly.

Sometimes I have this conjecture that countries like the US have a very strong culture clash. There are the religious fundamentalist types insisting on abstinence before marriage. Then you also have slutwalks and such and people proud to be promiscuous. It's a country in conflict about sexuality. And I think that conflict is ripe for those who will whisper sweet words into each other's ears, maybe even words of love, to get what they want.

Here there's not much conflict about these things. So I think we tend to reward honesty and straightforwardness more than manipulation. If man and woman want to have sex, they can be honest with each other. They don't have to pretend to love each other when they don't.
