He’s either flirting with someone else, about to cheat or already cheating. Don’t ignore the signs, I had to learn the hard way. My new boyfriend has shown me what should really be happening in a relationship. He never hides his phone, as with my ex he guarded his phone all the time and always kept the brightness dark af or took his phone whenever he left the room. I only got extremely lucky one time because one night we were having friends over, and he went with me to the kitchen to grab the drinks and snacks. His phone was on the charger close to my friend, and the other girl called! My friend announced it asking “who’s my baby? Because she’s calling”. It was the sign I prayed for and knew I’d never find on my own since he always bud his phone. I left him immediately! Trust your gut girl it is not lying and that is the biggest sign.

Sounds like he has trust problems. Or lying about not texting anyone. Many reasons but in one way only to be certain: It's a him problem.
Major red flag. He shouldn’t be considered about you ‘being nosey’ if he has anything to hide.
My husband and I use each other’s phones all the time. If i move next to him, he doesn’t turn his phone away at all.
even if I was being nosey and wanted to go through his phone for some reason (which I never do because I trust him), he would hand it over to me without hesitation
Because he’s probably talking to a side chick. I turn mine over because it’s irritating when we’re watching a movie at home to see the light coming on every time. Plus I get text messages all the time from work so I have to leave it on. But chances are he’s seeing someone else or at least talking to someone else.

Sounds like neither one of you trusts each other. Maybe this isn’t a good time to move in together?
Shame him!!!
