Recently got called ugly by a guy who I dont know, this is my first EVER time experiencing this, am I actually ugly?

So I passed by a big group of guys with one of my friends. Bare in mind I haven't been called ugly in my life by others this is my first time ever. This guy in the group proceeds to say "their ugly" and I know it was to us, as they all started looking at us and laughing. Im starting to reconsider whether I am actually attractive or ugly.
A little back story on me though, I have been approached by a few guys before, I get stared at lots by guys, I get compliments from strangers before on my beauty and I have lots of other people coming to me to say Im really pretty. Is this true that I really am ugly? Or do you think the guy said it as a joke.

No you're not ugly at all... Strangers won't go and complement someone useless they are pretty and you've been approached by some guys so that proves that you're pretty... He is just rude even if this is a joke it's rude... And he just called a group of girls "ugly" in front of his friends because he's insecure, immature and he thinks he could do better and bring a girl beyond everyone's imagination especially his friends' ... And little did he know that a man shouldn't make fun of a girl's look.

To be blunt and seriously not trying to be an asshole reality sucks and not every person on this earth will think you’re attractive and from what it looks like you expect all men to find you attractive. You’re so worked up over an opinion that you’re questioning yourself on your beauty. I will say though don’t let what others think of you change your view on yourself. I’m not ugly, but I’m not a 10 either and I know some guys look at me an are like yuck and some just stare as they find me appealing to look at. I’ve been called ugly I’ve been called degrading names I’ve been called gorgeous and beautiful or sexy by many. At the end of the day their words shouldn’t phase you.

Everybody is ugly to someone different styles and wants so this is so small thing to worry about. Lot of guys never get laid so they compliment anybody just for chance of sex. Doesn't matter what people say about you because everybody is different. I hate red clothes but doesn't mean red is ugly to other people

We’re always going to be ugly to someone whether they’re being a hater or they’re being honest… The flip side is we’re also always going to be attractive to someone. So, I wouldn’t pay much attention to what they’re saying.. Tell yourself what you want others to tell you.

So he said "they're ugly". Youay not have been part of who he was talking about. From what you've written you seem to think you're not ugly. You mention your beauty. I have to agree with you. She is wanting to have others tell her she is attractive and that dude was an asshole for saying she wasn’t. That’s why I told her she looks like she thinks all men should find her attractive, but because one person disagrees and doesn’t think she is pretty she is so hurt over it. In the real world we all have preferences we all have people we are attracted to and some could literally be a 10 to majority of the world but to a few she could be a 1.

I really do think that may be my issue, especially considering the fact I am still in my teenage years and how I’ve basically been living with pretty privilege my whole life, which can play a huge part on why I have the mindset I have.. reading this makes me realise I should start working on it and only seek validation from myself, not others.
