so , this guy and I are kind of in a situationship. We’ve been talking for about a year now. We told , that we like each other. We’ve been talking back and forth, but recently like from past 2 weeks, he is acting like he doesn’t care at all if we talk or not. He said he is busy.
I told him that this thing is bothering me and he just said sorry, that we would work on it. I couldn’t pick up his calls few times. And when I called back it’s like he only talks when it’s convenient for him. He didn’t pick up my call but suddenly when he saw a picture of me, he called back telling me all kinds of excuses that he was caught up.
I don’t know why is he suddenly acting like he doesn’t care at all? When I said that I need clarity, then he started saying I’m really important for him but his actions doesn’t align with his words. He said he knows that and that every relation needs time. We’ve met only one so far, so when I held him accountable, he got ready to meet me the next day and he was in touch planning and letting me know about the date. But then he maybe a genuine reason or not , it got late and we had to cancel our date. I told him people make time for things they want to. And what I saw was after 2 days he was hanging out with his female friends and posted a story, I don’t know if its kind if sone manipulation or mind games he is playing, maybe he did it because he is really that insensitive or he doesn’t have a clue. Though my gut feelings say that he did it on purpose just after cancelling on me he was out , showing me that I’m not worth his time but he gives it to other people in his life. I told him if he is not interested, he should let me know and we’ll go our separate ways but then he won’t let me go either and doesn’t give me time.
whenever I say we should end this he gets defensive and make excuses. Its like he doesn’t want me and won’t even let me go.
what should I do?
