Please help!!! Are they trying to play games with me? and do you think the friend is going to go back and tell everything I told him?

So I recently stopped talking to this guy everything was going great and then he just stopped texting me and we stopped hanging out. He said that he wasn’t trying to do anything but he wasn’t uninterested…yeah whatever. So he has a couple of friends that play on the same team and one of his friends heard me say his name to my other friend weeks ago because we’re in the same class. Well just today the guy I use to talk to friend, asked me what happened between me and the guy and I told him that his friend ended it out of nowhere and that it was situationship and that we were just going with the flow but he stopped it. The friend had the nerve to say good for him that means he trying to change. Changed from what? I’m not a bad person or a hoe. I’m a normal girl who ain’t all that experienced and keeps to herself, I didn’t do anything. Then the friend told me that we never had this conversation. The friend did tell me that the guy I use to talk to was telling his friends that me and him were talking which I was stunned but not shocked to hear since his friends are always looking at me and still are.

It has nothing to do with you, that much is obvious. His friend would have never said that in front of you if he had something to do with you. He obviously didn't insult you.

Okay I get that. Do you believe that his friend will go back and spread what I told him. I just don’t want this guy to be thinking that I still have feelings for him

No because he said that. He isn't talking to his friend on that level otherwise he would not have needed to come to you.

The friend gave no indication that he thinks lowly of you. His focus was around his friend, "The friend had the nerve to say good for him that means he trying to change. " Obviously the guy you were involved with is going through some needed change within himself. The friend probably does not know you well enough to even properly judge you. I don't think anything is your fault. Plus you say you are a good person and so why would it? I think the guy you were involved with is just going through something and it probably is rather sensitive.

With all that said, only you can determine the situation fully. His tone of voice and expression of face are not shown to me through the text of this post. Did the friend seem sincere? If so then you have nothing to worry about. It wasn't your fault. For example, when a girl rejects a guy it sometimes has nothing to do with the guy. Maybe this guy just isn't ready, for whatever reason. Use your intuition.
