What could be going on with him?

Me and this guy have been talking over the last month. It seemed to be going well. He was asking me about my job, wanting to see my art portfolio etc. He was asking about my day and was asking me nice questions about the gym because he does gym too. Recently, he’s been complimenting me on my ass. He wrote to me today to ask me what my thinnest pair of leggings are. Why has he gone from asking me nice caring questions to suddenly objectifying me? I find it worrying and confusing. Any opinions? It looked like he wanted a nice caring romantic relationship and now he’s asking weird questions and giving me weird compliments about my ass. What could be going on with him?
