The question above. Ghosting is the most obvious sign, but let's put that he doesn't do it, he hasn't blocked you yet, and he can answer you if you contact him first, but the point is to give him the chance of contacting you before you do it (and asking him why he hasn't). So how long do you need to wait for him to take the initiative in contacting you?

Is a better question why are you playing the guessing game? If you want to contact them or you want actual truth and conversation from him reach out to him and get it. It makes no sense waiting anticipating drop me himself wild thinking of what if scenarios or what about scenarios, make an effort and explain how you feel about this type of behavior and is he willing to change it. Otherwise you're going to be sitting by the phone wondering waiting of things that you've already conceived in your brain such as he hasn't blocked you yet or I'll just wait for him to call me when I can call or text him. Take initiative after you take initiative and you find out what you find out decide whether or not it's worth actually continuing relationship friendship skinship or whatever ship it may be

If you think he is not interested, don't bother trying to have a conversation with him (always texting him/starting convo). Don't chase anyone.
