Been in a serious relationship and plan on getting married. boyfriend knows I’m not on bc and goes inside each time. He talks about how our future kid will be (athletic, good at xyz) in a lighthearted/joking way. But then he says he’s not ready yet for one and we needa wait until marriage. We both agree to not abort if it does occur. We’d be ok if it happens but curious is he trying and just saying he’s not ready? A lot of people in his family have babies so not sure if that’s an influence. He also has mentioned his dad prob would be happy if he impregnated me. Getting confused on the action vs “I’m not ready yet” statements.

if he's not ready, he should be wrapping up and showing he's responsible, same as you should be on birth control unless you are actively trying for a child.
